Salvam Cateii

The project 'Salvam Cateii' (ENG, 'Saving the Dogs') was started in the Autumn of 2016 using just a few financial donations from the volunteers at the time. We currently have 10 people actively involved in the project plus our sponsors. Whilst in 2016 our work only consisted of helping at the public shelter of Piatra Neamt, Romania, since 2017, we have started getting involved in rescuing stray dogs from the streets of Piatra Neamt. We regularly organise fundraising events and when dealing with urgent cases, we work closely with two foreign charities. Our final goal is to have our own NGO and our own private shelter. At the moment, we can only take on cases from Piatra Neamt, Romania however, going forward, we wish to extend this project to other areas of Romania. Our one and only purpose is saving the lives of as many animals as possible, gain their trust and make them happy. Up until now we have helped rescue over 20 stray dogs and we are currently helping over 100 dogs living at the public shelter of Piatra Neamt. We hope to have an impact on this town and its people and offer these dogs a peaceful life, full of love. We thank you very much for all your kind words and support!
